But problems do occasionally come up regarding the conditions of your lease. You may also witness a problem of this kind as the informal or family caregiver of a person living in a PSR.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s where the <strong>CAAP LEASE<\/strong> service can be very helpful.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; link_font=&#8221;||||on||||&#8221; link_text_color=&#8221;#40b5bf&#8221; link_line_height=&#8221;1.3em&#8221; ul_line_height=&#8221;1.3em&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;0px||33px|||&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; link_text_color__hover=&#8221;#ed6b4b&#8221; link_text_color__hover_enabled=&#8221;on|hover&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><b>Here are a few questions about situations you may encounter: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What do I do if I receive a renewal notice? How long do I have to respond?<\/li>\n<li>Can I refuse a rent increase? How?<\/li>\n<li>Can the residence change the price of services or care during the lease?<\/li>\n<li>What do I do if the services included in my lease aren\u2019t being provided?<\/li>\n<li>What do I do if I\u2019m being charged additional fees on top of those included in the lease?<\/li>\n<li>What do I do if the residence isn\u2019t keeping the common areas clean and well-maintained?<\/li>\n<li>What do I do if something breaks in my unit and the residence doesn\u2019t repair it?<\/li>\n<li>What do I do if I\u2019m threatened with eviction or pressured in any other way?<\/li>\n<li>What if staff are being abusive toward me?<\/li>\n<li>How do I terminate my lease?<\/li>\n<li>If I become less self-reliant, can I change the conditions of my current lease (by adding services) to meet my new needs?<\/li>\n<li>If, for health reasons, I require special care offered elsewhere, can I terminate my lease? How do I do that?<\/li>\n<li>How do you terminate the lease of a PSR resident who has died? How quickly can the lease be terminated and what is required?
